Competition Rules Scholarship Competition When does it start? Competition starts once you submit your application. Students are responsible for reading, understanding and following competition rules. Completed applications and supplemental content must be submitted by the deadline stated on the application’s web page. Student finalists will be notified by email. Finalists must attend all consecutive days at their locally selected University. Finalists must attend the awards ceremony. What is the objective of the competition Finalists must create their own business plan summary and present the plan with a 5 minute slide presentation. Learning materials and lessons will be provided for all finalists. Presentations will be judged based on professionalism, attainable goals, competitive business analysis, financials, management plan, and commercialization objectives. What type of presentation file can I use? Students may select one of the following files to submit their presentation. MS PowerPoint Adobe PDF Desktop Prezi When do I turn in my presentation slides? All finalists must turn in their final presentation slide file by 2:00pm on presentation day. No changes to the file can be made after it is turned in. Can I include props or samples in my presentation? Yes, finalists may include props and samples in their presentations. Finalists will not be provided with materials to create props or samples. Props, samples, business cards and all materials presented will not be returned.
